We then hopped in the car to head to Mossfellsbaer! I had read that there were really nice walks around here and it was close to Mount Esja. It's also known as Green Town so assumed it would be pretty. As if anywhere in Iceland isn't pretty!
We parked up somewhere random and followed a footpath to check out some views.
After a short walk around we hopped in the car to find Lágafell, a hill that you could see all across Mossfellsbaer from. We drove up to a cute little church and went to walk up the hill. My god was it windy! We were literally getting pushed over by the wind. Worth it though! The views were stunning!

We then found a little shopping village place (nothing like you'd find in England) which was completely void of people. And open shops. But the cafe was open! I had pickled herring and a raw chocolate cake.
After filling our tummy's we went for another drive where we found this amazing church and climbed a hill and took a jumping photo.
Talk about a busy day! We needed a rest when we got back. But it was my birthday (and we were hungry) so it wasn't long before we headed out again. We found a hostel called Kex for a beer and some fries. Then we found a Big Lebowski themed bar for more beer. I got sleepy though so we weren't out late.
